The Design Service
Ten deliverables. One complete process. Your designs, outright.
Our design service is a professional, paid service — not a free consultation.
It produces a complete, personally specified design for your space: drawings,
3D visualisations, a material and finish specification, an appliance or
sanitaryware schedule, and a full investment guide.
If you choose to manufacture and install with us, the fee is redeemed
in full against your project contract. Either way, the designs are yours.
What You Receive
Ten specific deliverables, produced in sequence. Each one has real standalone value.
Together they tell the complete story of your space before a single unit is manufactured or tile is ordered.
Lifestyle & Design Brief
Before a single line is drawn, we write a brief — a document that captures and reflects back everything we heard during your Discovery Session. How you live. What you love. What your space needs to do for you. In your own words, played back with precision. Most studios never produce this. Receiving it tells you that you were genuinely listened to.
Measured Survey & Existing Plans
A designer visits your home and measures the space accurately — not estimated from a photograph. Every dimension, every service position, every structural constraint captured on site. This is the technical foundation the entire design is built on.
Layout Approval
We share two or three layout options — floor plans only, no aesthetic design yet. You confirm the layout that works for how you live, in writing, before any tile selection or material choice begins. This is the stage that makes the design review possible as an experience rather than a working session.
Concept Direction Discussion
You bring your references. We bring our interpretation of them. Together we discuss two or three aesthetic directions — each with a mood board, a proposed palette and a written rationale — and agree the direction before the full design begins.
Full Drawn Design
A complete set of technical drawings produced to scale — the documents a builder, plumber, electrician and installer can each work from. Every dimension, every elevation, every service position drawn precisely. Nothing left to interpretation.
3D Photorealistic Visualisations
Three photorealistic renders showing the space as it will actually look — in your home, with your chosen materials, at the light quality specific to your room's orientation. Not a generic image. Your space. These are shown at the design review, never emailed in advance.
Material & Finish Specification Board
A curated, physical presentation of every material and finish in the design — samples composed together as a complete picture. Tiles look very different alone than they do at scale with a grout line, adjacent brassware and natural light. The board makes the whole visible.
Appliance or Sanitaryware Schedule
A fully specified list — every item by brand, model, dimensions and finish — selected to suit the design, your requirements and the project budget. Dimensions are confirmed before manufacture begins. No surprises on site.
Preliminary Investment Guide
A detailed, honest breakdown of the full estimated project cost, presented as a range. Every figure is based on your specific design — not a generic estimate. The design service fee is shown as a redemption against the total.
Formal Design Review
A dedicated 90-minute appointment at our studio. We walk through everything together — drawings, visualisations, the specification board, the investment guide. In person. Everything seen properly, in context, with time to ask every question.
The Refinement Period
Following the design review, you have 7 to 10 days to live with the design.
The visualisations. The material choices. The investment guide.
Take them home. Sit with them. Show people you trust.
At the end of the refinement period, you submit one consolidated response.
Any adjustments to materials or finishes are confirmed in writing.
The final specification is agreed. Then we build.
The Fee
The Design Service Fee starts at £900, paid in two stages.
£150 — Discovery Session. Paid on booking.
*£750 — Design Services Agreement. Paid on signing, covering the survey,
layout approval, full design, design review and refinement period
as one continuous service.
If you choose to manufacture and install with us, the full fee is redeemed
against your project contract. You pay toward your project, never on top of it.
The designs are yours outright, regardless of what you decide.
*The design service fee will be confirmed at discovery session. Complex designs, multi-spaces and/or structural changes will incur additional fees.
